Role Overview - Supply Chain Department

The Clinical Supply Specialist will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and enhancing the company’s supply strategies. This involves close collaboration with Project Management, Vendor Management, DLS Leadership, Finance, and external vendors to optimize supply chain efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee study and overall supply chain strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Manage supply levels to ensure uninterrupted availability while minimizing inventory costs.
• Supervise manufacturing and distribution processes to maintain quality and timelines.
• Work jointly with Project Management, Vendor Management, and DLS Leadership teams.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive inventories of study drugs.
• Design procedures to boost supply chain efficiency while guaranteeing safety and quality, and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate on defining and tracking key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) at both study and functional scopes.
• Detect process bottlenecks and execute timely solutions.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of one year of experience in clinical research environments.
• At least 1-2 years experience in supply chain operations.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes in IRT/RTSM systems is advantageous.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with a systematic and logical work approach.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Strategic, lateral thinking and effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills to collaborate effectively internally and externally.
• Proficient negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Business acumen and analytical proficiency, including advanced IT literacy and Excel skills.
• Knowledge of risk management principles applicable to supply chain contexts.
• A strong sense of ownership, critical thinking, detail orientation, and superior communication skills.
