Role overview
CircleLink Health is hiring a careful and organized Clinical Data Entry Specialist to help its care management programs by moving clinical records into client EHR platforms accurately. This is a part-time 1099 contractor role that can expand into more hours as the team grows, and the preferred start is as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Enter clinical documents into client EHR systems exactly as received, without changing the content.
- Safeguard the correctness of records and ensure patient information is handled in line with HIPAA requirements.
- Work within defined clinical support procedures and workflows.
- Partner with the care management and operations groups to keep work moving smoothly.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with EHR or EMR systems.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong accuracy focus.
- Understanding of HIPAA and PHI handling best practices when working remotely.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable following structured processes.
- Background in medical billing.
- Hands-on experience with Epic Systems.
- Experience using Athenahealth electronic health records.
- Experience with eCW EHR.
- Preference for candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone.
Compensation and terms
The role pays between $20 and $30 per hour based on experience. It is part-time, remote, and limited to the United States. This position does not include equity. The engagement is ongoing and expected to last more than 6 months.
