Job description
Role Overview
This position involves the comprehensive management, organisation, and coordination of the Physiotherapy Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service within the Emergency Department (ED) and Minor Injuries Unit at both the Mater Hospital campus and the Smithfield minor injuries site. The appointed professional will serve as a clinical leader in this specialised area, driving proposed service enhancements that may affect the multidisciplinary team (MDT), and ensuring that high-quality, safe care is consistently delivered in collaboration with physiotherapy management.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and operational oversight of the physiotherapy MSK service in the ED and Minor Injuries Unit.
- Develop and implement strategic improvements to the service and team operations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and safe patient care.
- Coordinate physiotherapy services across two key hospital sites to maintain service continuity and quality.
