About the Role
ObjectiveHealth is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) to join us part-time as a Sub-Investigator at our Richmond, VA clinical research site. This role offers a distinctive chance for advanced practice providers in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related fields to directly impact pioneering clinical research initiatives.
Work Schedule
- Part-time position
- Daytime shifts
- Onsite presence required 2-3 days per week
- Total of 16-24 working hours each week

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Sub-Investigator overseeing assigned clinical trials with full accountability
- Ensure strict adherence and enforcement of study protocols, emphasizing participant safety throughout
- Perform and document physical examinations and medical evaluations per research requirements
- Provide ongoing medical supervision at all stages of the clinical trial process
- Collaborate closely with study coordinators, site personnel, and the research team to guarantee efficient trial conduct
- Participate actively in sponsor meetings, site initiations, monitoring visits, and regulatory audits
- Maintain compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines, FDA regulations, and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications and Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) with an active Virginia license
- Preferred leadership experience in clinical or healthcare environments
- Capability to conduct study-related clinical assessments/procedures under Principal Investigator’s supervision
- Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to ethical, clinical, and regulatory excellence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not offered
