Job description

Overview

Alimentiv is building a pool of qualified Clinical Research Associate candidates across Europe for upcoming needs within its Clinical Monitoring function. This is intended for professionals who may not be ready to move immediately or who do not see a current vacancy that matches their background, but want to be considered when suitable opportunities open up.

Selection process for the talent pool

  • Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by Talent Acquisition for an introductory discussion about their background and availability.
  • The team will also explain expected hiring timelines on its side, since this talent pool is not necessarily linked to an immediate opening.
  • Candidate details will be retained for future consideration, and if a matching vacancy arises based on seniority and practical fit, the recruitment team will reach out to arrange interviews.

Clinical Research Associate I/II responsibilities

  • Carry out or support site management activities through remote oversight and supervised onsite visits, including study start-up, monitoring, and close-out, while following SOPs, the protocol, and GCP requirements.
  • Review data and study systems remotely, including EDC, CTMS, RBM, and TMF, to help ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Help with or lead query resolution, safety review activities, and follow-up on adverse events during the study.
  • Assist with site activation work such as investigator coordination, delivery of trial materials, and recruitment support.
  • Keep TMF records accurate, current, and complete, and request missing updates when needed.
  • Provide everyday operational support to Senior CRAs and Lead CRAs.
  • Take part in training sessions, study meetings, and development activities to build the capabilities needed for career growth.

Senior Clinical Research Associate responsibilities

  • Perform all duties listed for CRA I/II, with additional senior-level oversight and mentoring responsibilities.
  • Serve as a technical resource for peers, offer coaching, and provide performance feedback to management when needed.
  • Support the selection, hiring, onboarding, training, and supervision of CRAs, including co-monitoring and training visits.
  • Act as the first escalation contact for site or patient issues, or for sponsor concerns when required.
  • Represent monitoring leadership in business development activities when a site-monitoring focus is needed.
  • Potentially step into a Lead CRA position and oversee monitoring for a set of projects and/or CRAs on large or complex studies, including directing daily work and reviewing or approving monitoring reports.
  • Safeguard overall study quality and maintain strong working relationships with site teams.
  • Support site recruitment by helping ensure SOPs are in place and by guiding teams on inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Qualifications

  • CRA I: at least 1 year of experience plus an Honours Bachelor Degree.
  • CRA II: at least 2 years of experience plus an Honours Bachelor Degree.
  • Senior CRA: at least 3 years of experience plus an Honours Bachelor Degree.

Compensation and total rewards

  • Pay depends on seniority, location, and the candidate’s experience.
  • For full-time permanent roles, the package includes base pay, performance bonus eligibility, and benefits such as health coverage, dental coverage, RRSP matching, and other offerings.
  • More compensation details can be shared during an initial call with Talent Acquisition.

Recruitment security notice

Applicants should be cautious of impersonation scams. Authentic hiring communication comes directly from the company’s recruiters or hiring managers, and sensitive personal details are not requested early in the process. Official messages are sent only from company email domains. If something seems suspicious, candidates should verify it before replying.

AI-supported hiring note

The company may use AI-based tools during parts of recruitment, such as resume review, application screening, response analysis, or consistency checks. These tools support the recruitment team but do not replace human judgment, and final hiring decisions are made by people. Candidates who want more information about data handling can contact the company.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
