Clinical Reasoning Specialist

Role Overview

Engage in a pioneering clinical knowledge project that assesses and contrasts outputs from advanced models tackling intricate medical problems. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping how future systems approach diagnosis, therapeutic decisions, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and compare two model-generated responses to identical clinical prompts to identify which exhibits superior medical reasoning.
• Examine each model's reasoning process through supplied input files to support evidence-based assessments.
• Clearly explain the reasons why one response surpasses the other, focusing on clinical accuracy, patient safety, and quality of reasoning.
• Provide detailed written feedback that the research team will utilize to refine model performance.
• Take part in onboarding and specialty calibration sessions to maintain consistency throughout evaluations.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of an MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or an advanced clinical/biomedical degree, or similarly relevant professional experience.
• Experience in clinical practice, medical research, or a biomedical-related specialty.
• Ability to apply up-to-date clinical guidelines and evidence-based medicine to complex clinical situations.
• Strong written communication skills paired with meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-driven with capacity to work independently, manage flexible schedules, and reliably meet evaluation criteria.

Role Details

• Compensation rate: $150 per hour.
• Work arrangement: fully remote.
• Contract type: hourly-based with rolling start and possibility of extension.
