  • Provide effective psychological interventions to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members.
  • Ensure clinical documentation and referrer correspondence comply with contractual standards and deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possession of a postgraduate degree in Psychology (Masters/Doctorate or equivalent) and registration with the New Zealand Psychologists Board.
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate and full professional membership with indemnity insurance.
  • Desirable but not essential: minimum two years clinical experience and familiarity with ACC contracts.
  • Interest or prior experience in pain management and rehabilitation.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, time management, and documentation skills.
  • Respectful and values-driven approach with a dedication to diversity and professional ethics.
  • Capability to manage an independent caseload.
  • Willingness to learn and grow, supported by orientation and ongoing training.

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive salary package with potential bonuses.
  • Encouragement for ongoing professional growth through regular in-service and regional training sessions.
  • Coverage for Annual Practicing Certificate, professional membership fees, and insurance.
  • Recognition schemes and reward initiatives throughout the company.
  • Subsidized Southern Cross health insurance for employees working 20 hours or more weekly.
  • Specialized training on incorporating Māori tikanga in practice.
  • Birthday leave entitlement for employees working 20 hours or more.
  • Wellbeing allowance of NZD 250 for 20+ hours weekly or NZD 100 for under 20 hours weekly employees.
