Position Overview
Join TELUS International AI as a Clinical & Medical AI Expert, where precision in healthcare AI is paramount. This role involves contributing to the development and training of sophisticated AI models with clinical accuracy equivalent to certified professionals. You will be part of a specialized healthcare team, ensuring AI models perform nuanced reasoning on diagnostic and pharmacological data.
Primary Responsibilities
- Evaluate and validate the AI's clinical reasoning processes, ensuring conformity with global clinical standards such as ICD-11 and DSM-5.
- Thoroughly review AI-generated pharmacological content, such as drug interactions and dosage guidelines, against trusted medical literature.
- Accurately annotate complex biomedical data sets including imaging (MRI/CT), pathology, and genetic data to enhance AI's visual and spatial analytical capabilities.
- Detect and mitigate potential medical inaccuracies ('hallucinations') in AI outputs to safeguard patient wellbeing.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least one year of relevant professional experience in clinical or biomedical disciplines.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in medicine (MD/MBBS), pharmacy (PharmD), nursing, or biomedical sciences.
- Proficient at native level (C2+) in your primary language to comprehend medical and regional terminology.
- Intermediate English skills (B1 level) sufficient for technical reading and documentation.
- Availability to work from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Indian Standard Time to align with company hours.
