Overview
The Clinical Initiatives Manager at the Clinical Center of Excellence (CCOE) within the Clinical Department is tasked with overseeing, implementing, and tracking strategic projects that enhance clinical performance across the organization. Acting as the operational cornerstone, this position spearheads clinical project management, facilitates evidence-based decision making, and ensures the successful realization of initiatives aligned with clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project management activities from conception to completion, coordinating multiple clinical initiatives concurrently.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, establish timelines and milestones, assess risks, and communicate progress effectively with stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration through meetings and coordination, ensuring alignment of operational, clinical, and compliance objectives.
- Organize and manage clinical, operational, and compliance data sets; create dashboards, scorecards, and comprehensive reports to guide executive decisions.
- Support quality assurance by coordinating audits, tracking findings, and implementing corrective actions to uphold organizational standards and accreditation requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements utilizing methodologies such as PDSA, Lean, root cause analysis, and process mapping.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and project updates, documenting action items and monitoring completion of deliverables.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Healthcare Administration, or related disciplines.
- Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in ABA.
- Strong familiarity with organizational behavior management, industrial/organizational psychology, project leadership, and systems analysis.
- Proven analytical thinking, organization, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes work within multi-state ABA service providers, knowledge of accreditation standards such as BHCOE, CARF, or ACQ, and leadership in substantial quality improvement projects.
Performance Metrics
- Progress toward accreditation milestones.
- Effectiveness of compliance mechanisms via accurate reporting and data governance.
- On-time delivery of strategic projects each quarter as planned with the Clinical Center of Excellence leadership.
- Achieving a minimum 95% closure rate on quality and compliance corrective actions quarterly.
- Completion of 4 to 6 organizational or CCOE process improvements annually.
Additional Details
Regular travel is typically unnecessary; however, attendance at conferences, work retreats, or sessions may be required as determined by executive leadership.
