Role overview

The Clinical Administrator will provide administrative support to the Lyra Canada Clinical Operations team. This person will act as the initial contact for internal and external administrative questions, work with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues, and escalate matters when needed. The position is closely connected to the Canada clinical operations function and requires the ability to balance multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and meet tight deadlines. The role also includes handling the invoicing process for Lyra Canada affiliates.

Key duties

The role covers case coordination, general administration, and support for clinical operations workflows. It involves maintaining accurate case information, supporting invoicing activities, and assisting with stakeholder communication and troubleshooting.

Case coordination

  • Assist the clinical team with case administration, including preparing, sharing, and following up on case progress and status reports.
  • Check the accuracy of new case records and help review data quality reports.
  • Support the processing of invoices tied to clinical services, making sure billed sessions and services match the information stored in Lyra systems.
  • Help case managers and affiliates with questions and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare and keep document files organized and up to date.
  • Help maintain network capacity by monitoring affiliate availability and reaching out when needed.

General administration

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure case records are complete and processes run smoothly.
  • Stay engaged with clinical teams and Lyra affiliates so cases continue to move forward effectively.

Qualifications and experience

A background in administration, business, or a related area is preferred. A degree is desirable, but it is not mandatory. Strong financial work experience or relevant qualifications are required. The role calls for several years of administrative experience at a high level of complexity. Experience in client administration or an EAP setting is considered an advantage, and experience in a diverse international environment will also be viewed positively.

Technical and role-specific skills

Applicants should bring strong administrative capability, excellent English communication skills, good computer literacy, numeracy, and a basic understanding of bookkeeping. They should also be comfortable working with complex spreadsheets, adapting to different systems, and managing several responsibilities under time pressure. Strong telephone and email communication is important.

Personal attributes

The ideal candidate will work in a professional, quality-focused manner, handle confidential information carefully, and bring enthusiasm and a strong customer focus. The role also calls for problem-solving ability, mature relationship-building, cross-cultural awareness, independence, teamwork, negotiation skills, adaptability, sound judgment under ambiguity, ownership of work quality, assertiveness, resilience under pressure, and the ability to multitask to agreed standards.

Equal opportunity and privacy

Lyra Health is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex including pregnancy, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other legally protected category. By applying, candidates acknowledge that personal data will be processed in line with Lyra Health’s workforce privacy notice.
