Role Overview

We seek a Clinical Account Manager for Acute Care Therapies based in Auckland, New Zealand. This pivotal role combines hands-on clinical training with strategic sales responsibilities, supporting key healthcare providers in ICUs, theatres, and critical care settings nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive expansion of the Acute Care Therapies product range throughout New Zealand, initially focusing on Auckland hospitals and expanding nationally.
  • Deliver expert clinical education and training about products to healthcare professionals working in ICU and theatre contexts.
  • Establish and maintain strong, trusted partnerships with ICU clinicians, nurse educators, and procurement departments.
  • Manage product evaluations, pilot trials, and implementation projects to ensure successful product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to contribute to tenders, quoting, account strategies, and achieving commercial targets.
  • Create and implement detailed territory plans aligned with revenue objectives and strategic goals.
  • Become a subject-matter expert in clinical applications, particularly relating to ventilation and wound care therapies.
  • Travel extensively across New Zealand, up to approximately 50%, to support customers and develop key accounts.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a clinical background with essential critical care experience specifically in ICUs.
  • Preferably have over five years of ICU experience with exposure or interest in commercial or healthcare industry roles.
  • Skilled at delivering training and presentations to clinical audiences effectively.
  • Commercially aware, able to develop sales skills and engage in business-related discussions confidently.
  • Organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build credibility and relationships with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
  • Self-driven and resilient, comfortable working independently across a national territory.
  • Willing and excited to travel frequently and embrace the challenges of a field-based position.
