Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is being shared on behalf of a partner employer that handles all applications and the hiring process. The company is seeking a Client Success Manager located in the United States.

You’ll support a varied portfolio of clients in a fast-moving, fully remote setting, with a focus on helping customers adopt the platform, achieve measurable results, and deepen their relationship with the product over time. The role combines account oversight, strategic guidance, and proactive customer outreach to reduce churn and identify areas for expansion. You’ll serve as a dependable advisor who turns client goals into practical action plans and long-term platform usage. Success in this position depends on ownership, clear structure in communication, and a strong results orientation. You’ll work closely with teams across product, marketing, and customer experience to improve the overall customer journey and business impact.

Accountabilities

  • Oversee a large portfolio of customer accounts and drive onboarding, adoption, retention, and expansion across the book of business.
  • Initiate proactive outreach and structured success discussions that connect platform usage to each client’s business objectives and milestones.
  • Run onboarding meetings and recurring success check-ins to uncover adoption gaps, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Spot accounts that are at risk early and carry out recovery plans to improve engagement and limit churn.
  • Create and roll out scalable engagement initiatives such as campaigns, automated workflows, and office hours.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and referrals within existing accounts and support broader revenue goals.
  • Keep CRM records and activity logs accurate and up to date so account visibility and data quality remain strong.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share client insights and help improve product adoption and the customer experience.

Requirements

The right candidate will have experience in client-facing work, with the ability to manage several accounts at once, deliver measurable outcomes, and communicate effectively in a remote-first environment.

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in client success, account management, or a comparable customer-facing position.
  • Background handling multiple accounts in a high-volume SaaS or service-based environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently run client initiatives from onboarding through renewal or expansion.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort leading structured conversations centered on business value.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or similar systems.
  • Well-developed organization and prioritization skills for balancing competing client demands.
  • Comfort working remotely with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
  • Preferred qualifications include SaaS experience, exposure to customer retention programs or expansion-led success strategies, and Spanish language ability.

Benefits

  • 100% remote work within the United States
  • Competitive base pay of USD 50,000 to USD 80,000, with performance-based incentives
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match and immediate eligibility
  • Unlimited paid time off, plus company-paid holidays
  • Paid parental leave and Volunteer Time Off
  • Professional development and learning opportunities
  • Compensation is designed with fairness across a distributed team in mind
