The Role
This is a full-time night shift cleaning supervisor position at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Sippy Downs, Queensland.
The role supports the cleanliness and upkeep of educational facilities, contributing to a positive environment for students and staff. Candidates with experience in commercial or retail cleaning are encouraged to apply.
The position is scheduled to begin as soon as possible. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 4:30 pm to 12:00 am. Pay is aligned with the Cleaning Services Award 2020, Level 3.
Role Requirements
- You should present professionally, take initiative, and be comfortable working independently.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team is required.
- Experience in commercial or retail cleaning is preferred, although on-the-job training will be provided.
- You need a working understanding of chemical handling and correct cleaning methods, or a willingness to learn.
- Experience using cleaning machinery such as scrubbers, buffers, and car park sweepers is needed.
- A strong commitment to safe work practices is essential.
- You must be physically capable of standard cleaning duties and able to walk for extended periods.
- Good listening ability and the capacity to follow instructions are important.
- You must be able to communicate clearly in both spoken and written English.
- The role requires flexibility to work additional hours and public holidays when needed.

Additional Information
