Job description
Role Overview
Sydney Trains is seeking dedicated Cleaning Attendants to provide thorough cleaning services across Customer Experience Centres and Stabling Yards in the Blue Mountains Region. These roles contribute directly to enhancing customer satisfaction by maintaining elevated cleanliness standards on train services and related facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently perform high-quality general and deep cleaning at specified locations including Maintenance Yards and Customer Experience Centres.
- Support Sydney Trains' strategic goals by ensuring service cleanliness meets or exceeds expectations.
- Operate primarily on night shifts within rotating 24-hour rosters, including early mornings, late nights, evenings, and weekends.
- Participate in a paid induction and training program upon commencement to equip you with the skills needed for the role.

- Self-driven with a strong focus on maintaining cleanliness standards daily.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service mindset and maintain safety consciousness at all times.
- Availability and commitment to rotating shifts that cover all hours of the week and weekends.
Additional Information
Positions are available both full-time and part-time within 39 locations across the region. The role requires candidates to be at least 18 years old and either Australian citizens or permanent residents, as this is a permanent position within the NSW Public Sector.
