About the Role
The Heritage is a refined hospitality destination in the Laois countryside, combining a luxury hotel with an award-winning European spa. The property also includes a Health Club featuring a leisure pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam rooms, a 5 km walking track, and a cinema. An opportunity is available for a careful and dependable Spa and Health Club Cleaner to become part of the team.
This position requires flexibility across early shifts, late shifts, weekends, and bank holidays. The role is generally scheduled for 5 days per week, with daily hours of roughly 4 to 5 depending on business needs.
Key Duties
- Keep all shared and public spaces clean, sanitary, and presentable to a consistently high standard.
- Carry out regular cleaning of floors, mats, glass surfaces, doors, touch points, and dust-prone areas.
- Check restrooms every hour and address cleanliness as required.
- Perform deep-cleaning tasks in areas assigned by management, including restrooms, changing rooms, and other public areas.
- Restock essentials such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning materials.
- Use cleaning products and personal protective equipment correctly and safely.
- Escalate maintenance concerns, damage, and potential safety risks to management.
- Maintain daily checklists and cleaning logs accurately.
- Take on other reasonable tasks requested by management.
