About the Role and Company
Hisshou Teppanyaki, a restaurant located at 752 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000, is seeking a Cleaner to join their team. This opportunity is on-site and suitable for candidates with basic English skills and various visa statuses including Working Holiday, Student, Business, Permanent Residency, Citizenship, Tourist, and others.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties at the hospitality venue to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Work flexible hours with primary night shifts on Fridays and Saturdays from approximately 6pm to 11pm.
- Occasional shifts on other days and Sundays with adaptable timing.
Requirements
- Basic English proficiency (simple greetings sufficient) to communicate adequately at work.
- Eligibility to work in Australia under various visa categories including Working Holiday, Student, Business, Permanent Resident, Citizen, Tourist, etc.
- Ability to commit to at least 15 hours per week.
Compensation and Schedule
The role offers a starting pay from $24 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation, equating to approximately $27 per hour depending on experience. Candidates are expected to work minimum 15 hours weekly, primarily during night shifts on Friday and Saturday evenings.
