Role Overview

As a Cleaner at Palmview State Secondary College, you will play a crucial role in supporting the school’s operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment for students and staff. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cleaning services to support the efficient functioning of the school facilities.
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks to the standards set by your supervisor and follow the school's approved cleaning program.
• Clean windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors, and cupboards thoroughly.
• Sanitize toilet facilities and sick bays to ensure hygiene and safety.
• Maintain and clean equipment used in cleaning tasks.
• Control cobwebs and mildew using extendable cleaning tools where needed.
• Clean and maintain outdoor concrete, bitumen, asphalt, and paved surfaces.
• Manage waste disposal and litter control, including clearing debris from drains and gutters near buildings.
• Dust furniture, equipment, and fans in student and office areas.
