Cleaner - Milton Keynes

Position overview

Boyle Sports is looking for a part-time cleaner to help keep its Milton Keynes premises tidy, organised, and pleasant for both customers and colleagues. The role covers a range of cleaning tasks across the site, including washrooms, betting areas, and shared spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and flooring.
• Remove waste and fit new bin liners when needed.
• Keep betting terminals and gaming zones clean and presentable.
• Track cleaning stock levels and replenish supplies when required.
• Work according to the set cleaning timetable and site procedures.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene rules while working.
• Escalate any repair needs or possible safety concerns to management without delay.

Skills and qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is helpful, though not mandatory.
• Must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of the store.
• Able to work on your own efficiently and with minimal supervision.
• Strong eye for detail and a thorough approach to tasks.
• Good communication skills and a positive, cooperative attitude.
• Comfortable following instructions and established procedures.

Working schedule

The shift pattern is typically 4 to 7 days each week, depending on the store. Daily shifts are usually 1 to 2 hours long and take place outside Boyle Sports trading hours.
