The Opportunity
An opening is available for dependable, energetic cleaners to join the retail and shopping centre team in Penrith, New South Wales. The role suits people who work well in busy settings, have a sharp eye for detail, and take pride in maintaining clean, inviting areas for customers and clients.
This is a full-time position with several vacancies available. Work will be scheduled across weekdays and weekends. The role is paid according to the award, at Award Level 2.
Roster
The standard roster runs Tuesday to Saturday from 06:30 am to 14:36 pm.
Key Duties
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard
- Clean upholstered and other furnishings as needed
- Sweep and mop floors
- Clean toilets and washroom areas
- Collect and remove rubbish
- Clean internal and external glass surfaces
- Dust hard surfaces thoroughly
About You
The ideal candidate has prior cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial setting, and works effectively as part of a team. You should be comfortable taking direction as well as working independently, and you must bring strong attention to detail.
Good customer service, reliability, punctuality, and a sound understanding of workplace health and safety are important for this role. Flexibility to work different hours and public holidays when needed is also required. Experience using floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers will be considered an advantage.
You must have the legal right to work in Australia.
