About the Role

Royal York Property Management, a prominent property management firm overseeing numerous residential rental properties in Ontario, is seeking dependable and meticulous Cleaners. The position entails performing detailed cleaning duties for move-ins, move-outs, vacant-unit turnovers, and routine housekeeping tasks at occupied residences. Cleaners will independently travel to scheduled appointments using their own vehicle and ensure each property is cleaned according to the company's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough move-in and move-out cleaning for residential rental units.
• Execute comprehensive turnover cleaning for vacant apartments and homes.
• Provide routine housekeeping services in occupied homes as required.
• Clean various areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, floors, and common surfaces.
• Perform detailed cleaning tasks such as scrubbing baseboards, cleaning inside cabinets, and appliances.
• Utilize a mobile work application for receiving assignments, navigating via GPS, uploading photos, and updating job progress.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Report any property damage, maintenance issues, or areas that cannot be adequately cleaned.
• Travel between job sites using a personal vehicle.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 2 years of paid professional cleaning experience.
• Ability to perform both move-in/move-out cleaning and regular housekeeping.
• Possession of a reliable personal vehicle suitable for transport of supplies.
• Own all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Have a compatible smartphone capable of running a mobile work app with GPS, camera, and uploading features.
• Comfortable cleaning detailed areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, floors, baseboards, cabinets, and appliances.
• Self-motivated and able to follow detailed cleaning instructions independently.
• Basic proficiency in English communication.
• Dependable and punctual with the ability to meet GPS-verified arrival times.
