Role Overview
The Claims Representative is responsible for accurately evaluating, processing, and adjusting medical claims while complying with company policies, quality standards, and service timelines. Reporting to the Claims Supervisor, the role involves close collaboration with colleagues globally to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and process medical claims precisely, adhering to agreed turnaround times.
- Perform accurate data entry across various systems.
- Employ analytical skills and sound judgment in claims evaluation.
- Manage workload efficiently to meet quality and productivity objectives.
- Escalate complicated claims when necessary.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams.
- Promote a cooperative and positive team culture.
- Ensure confidentiality when handling sensitive medical information.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages such as French, Portuguese, Spanish, German, or Arabic are beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with multiple information systems.
- Adaptable with strong learning agility.
