Civil Engineer (Fresh Graduate)

Job summary

A construction organization in Al Kharj is looking for a junior civil engineer to support site operations. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is eager to gain hands-on exposure in field execution, site coordination, and project monitoring. The engineer will help verify that work follows approved drawings, technical requirements, quality expectations, and the planned timeline.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction progress at the project site.
• Check that activities match the approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Work closely with subcontractors, supervisors, and site personnel to keep operations running smoothly.
• Track progress on site and prepare daily reports on work completed.
• Assist with quantity measurements and tracking of materials used.
• Take part in inspections and the formal handover of finished work.
• Help ensure that quality standards and health, safety, and compliance requirements are followed.
• Support the team in addressing technical concerns and site-level issues.
• Keep project files, records, and documentation organized and up to date.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Suitable for fresh graduates, or candidates with up to 1 year of experience.
• Registered with, or eligible to register with, the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Must be open to site-based and field-oriented work in a construction environment.
• Should have a solid basic understanding of construction methods and engineering concepts.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required at a basic level.
• Good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities are important.
