Overview

Join a globally renowned infrastructure consulting firm to work on a variety of dams and reservoirs projects. With accelerating infrastructure investments worldwide, particularly in the UK water sector, this role offers the opportunity to engage in top-tier projects involving reservoir safety upgrades, hydropower, new storage systems, and resilience planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and execute projects related to reservoirs and dams including embankments, spillways, outlet works, dam heightening, and rehabilitation efforts.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, options analyses, detailed and outline design phases, and support construction activities.
  • Perform dam safety evaluations, hydrological assessments, flood routing, drawdown analyses, and breach impact studies.
  • Develop comprehensive technical reports, drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with panel engineers, regulatory bodies, water service companies, and contractors.
  • Carry out site inspections, investigations, and assess the condition of water infrastructure assets.
  • Assist in tender submissions, advocate for sustainability, and pursue continual professional growth.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in reservoir engineering, river engineering, or water utilities sectors.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams delivering high-quality results.
