Child Care Specialist

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Child Care Specialist to provide a safe, enjoyable, and stimulating environment for children within our daycare center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role involves supervising children during their stay, as well as planning and delivering educational and recreational activities designed to foster their motor skills, social abilities, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and receive children, ensuring their safety throughout their time at the daycare.
• Provide ongoing supervision and attention to children to guarantee their wellbeing.
• Develop and conduct daily age-appropriate activities tailored to different groups.
• Organize events including painting, coloring, crafts, storytelling, physical games, and sensory activities.
• Encourage learning through play, promoting social and creative skill development.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the children's environment, toys, and educational resources.
• Assist children with daily needs such as meals, personal hygiene, and rest when necessary.
• Observe children's behavior and report any remarks or special requirements to management.
• Engage professionally with parents when needed to communicate about their children.
• Adhere strictly to the daycare policies, security measures, and health and safety procedures.
• Participate in the coordination of seasonal events and celebrations within the facility.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in daycare, kindergarten, or child care centers is preferred.
• Passion and dedication towards working with children.
• Cheerful, patient, responsible, and creative personality.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Capability to design and implement diverse daily activities.
• First Aid certification is advantageous or willingness to obtain it.
