Role Overview

This position is for a Chief Technology Officer, Vice President (Defense) within a prominent defense-related organization based in the United States. Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in government contracting or IT sectors, especially within defense markets.
• Proven track record leading intricate technology solution development and enterprise innovation projects.
• Strong skills in crafting business cases, technical proposals, and solution documentation.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams within matrix organizational structures.
• Extensive knowledge of cutting-edge technology applications within government and defense contexts.
• Familiarity with IT operations, enterprise-level technology strategy, and best practices in information security.
• Experience overseeing large-scale budgets and technology investment management.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence executives and key stakeholders.
• Skilled in organizational planning, time management, and prioritization of multiple concurrent initiatives against deadlines.
• Strong leadership qualities, collaborative mindset, and alignment with organizational mission and values.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for U.S. government security clearance due to classified nature of the work.
