Role Overview
The Chief Technology & Digital Transformation Officer (CTDTO) leads the conception and deployment of enterprise-wide digital and technological initiatives to foster growth, operational efficiency, innovation, cybersecurity, and sustained competitive advantage in the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee a 3-5 year technology and digital transformation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Modernize legacy systems and migrate to cloud-based, data-centric, and AI-driven operational frameworks.
- Champion digital transformation across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, customer service, finance, HR, and corporate governance.
- Set up innovation platforms, digital labs, and engage with technology partners, startups, and academia.
- Lead initiatives in automation, Industry 4.0, IoT, advanced analytics, and intelligent operations.
- Manage enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cloud strategy, and integration platforms ensuring scalability and continuity.
- Govern ERP, CRM, WMS, MES, PLM, BI systems and related platform strategies.
- Implement cybersecurity policies, data privacy measures, regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, NCA, PDPL) and crisis recovery plans.
- Create unified data governance and analytics strategies enabling AI-driven decision-making.
- Chair technology investment committees, prioritize projects by ROI and strategic fit, and oversee budgets and vendor relations.
- Build and lead a multidisciplinary technology organization, fostering agile and product-focused operational practices.
- Advise executive leadership and board on technological trends, risks, and progress reports.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Master's degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) is highly valued
- Professional certifications such as CIO, TOGAF, PMP, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, or Cloud Architect are advantageous
- 15 to 25 years of leadership in technology or digital transformation roles
- Prior experience as CIO, CTO, or equivalent role at enterprise or group level
- Proven leadership in overseeing large-scale ERP, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives
- Experience within regulated or publicly listed entities is preferred
- Familiarity with industrial, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or complex multi-sector enterprises is a strong plus
