Job description

About FleetPartners

FleetPartners is a publicly listed leader in fleet leasing, fleet management, and novated leasing across Australia and New Zealand. The company supports businesses and individuals with vehicle solutions that are more affordable, more efficient, and more sustainable. As the organisation continues to evolve and modernise its platforms, it is looking to expand what is possible in mobility, leasing, and fleet services throughout AU and NZ.

Role overview

The Chief Strategy Officer will play a central role in shaping FleetPartners’ future direction. This is a senior leadership position designed for someone who can build, influence, and accelerate strategic opportunities rather than simply maintain existing plans. Working closely with the CEO, Board, and Executive Leadership Team, you will help define long-term priorities and turn them into measurable action.

Key areas of impact

  • Set and advance the long-range strategy for operations across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Evaluate new growth opportunities, strategic partnerships, and innovation initiatives that increase business value.
  • Convert strategic intent into execution through strong governance and practical frameworks.
  • Use data and commercial analysis to support investment choices, partnerships, and innovation decisions.

What success looks like

This role suits a leader who is comfortable working through complexity, creating clarity from ambiguity, and moving strategy into delivery. You will need to influence at the highest levels while bringing others along in the process.

About you

  • You bring substantial experience in enterprise strategy, corporate development, or transformation.
  • You have a strong record of designing and implementing strategy in complex organisations.
  • You combine commercial judgement with the ability to challenge ideas, influence stakeholders, and inspire action.
  • You work well in uncertain environments and are able to create direction where needed.
  • You lead collaboratively and build commitment across teams and functions.
  • You are motivated by innovation, customer value, and future-oriented thinking.

What’s on offer

  • A direct seat at executive level with real influence over the company’s future.
  • The chance to lead strategy during an important period of transformation.
  • A trusted, high-impact environment that values thoughtful and bold ideas.
  • Competitive executive pay with long-term incentives.
  • The opportunity to help shape the future of mobility and fleet solutions across ANZ.
  • Hybrid working flexibility.
  • Generous leave benefits, including up to 27 days of annual leave and 16 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Access to wellbeing and lifestyle programs that support you at work and at home.

Inclusion and workplace culture

FleetPartners is committed to building an inclusive environment where people feel respected, supported, and able to do their best work. The business is recognised by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency and accredited by WORK180 for its support of women in long-term careers, including recognition as one of the Top 101 Workplaces for Women 2025. It is also progressing its Innovate RAP to strengthen partnerships and opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Applicants from all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences are encouraged, and the company will support access needs or adjustments during recruitment.
