Chief Product Officer (CPO) Business Unit Leader

Role Summary

As the leader of the Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) business unit, you will be responsible for establishing and expanding this segment into a leading market force. Serving clients such as hyperscale AI data centers, GPU compute tray suppliers, and optical network switch OEMs, you will direct all aspects of the business including strategic planning, technology roadmap, team development, and financial performance. This position reports directly to the CTO.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and scale the CPO unit into a prominent organization by defining strategy, technology, hiring plans, and managing P&L.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan targeting advanced photonics markets, product lines, and market positioning.
• Recruit and lead a capable photonics team to innovate and meet business objectives.
• Oversee and guide the advancement of critical technologies such as co-packaged optics, silicon photonics, laser integration, fiber-to-chip interconnect, and mass manufacturing capabilities.
• Establish strategic collaborations with foundries, photonics packaging companies, fiber optic component suppliers, and research partners.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred. MBA is advantageous.
• At least 8 years of progressive leadership experience with a minimum of 5 years managing technology-driven businesses.
• Proven track record in launching sophisticated technological products to market.
• Strong technical expertise in optical networking, silicon photonics, and AI infrastructure technologies.
• Thrives in fast-moving environments that emphasize cross-functional teamwork and prioritize customer success.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $150,000 to $250,000 plus eligibility for bonuses.
