Job description
Role overview
A scaled, late-stage company is looking for a Chief People Officer to join at a critical point in its growth journey. The business is expanding across multiple markets and is in the middle of a major transformation, with a strong focus on building the governance, compliance, and operating foundations needed for an eventual IPO. This is a senior enterprise leadership position with the People function playing a central role in creating long-term value.
The role reports to the CEO and is expected to act as a strategic business partner at enterprise level, influencing direction far beyond traditional HR responsibilities. The position will involve regular interaction with the Board of Directors and the compensation committee, while supporting the company’s next phase of scale and organisational maturity. The business has teams across Asia and Europe, supported by an international HR team.
Key responsibilities
You will own the global people strategy through a period of rapid expansion, organisational change, and rising complexity. A major part of the role will be to help shape future operating models through strong organisation design, performance management, and scalable ways of working.
You will be expected to establish HR governance structures, strengthen executive compensation processes, build succession plans, and develop leadership pipelines in close partnership with the Board and Compensation Committee. Another important responsibility is ensuring the organisation is prepared from a people, governance, and leadership standpoint for a future IPO.
The role also includes driving global scaling initiatives, aligning HR practices across geographies while adapting appropriately to local market requirements. You will lead the creation of scalable people infrastructure, improve HRIS capability, advance people analytics, and support cross-border growth and M&A integration when needed.
Talent and leadership development will be a major priority. You will work to deepen executive bench strength, raise leadership capability globally, and position HR as a strategic driver of performance, sustainability, and value creation.
Candidate profile
Successful candidates are likely to have extensive senior HR leadership experience, ideally at Chief People Officer or CHRO level, within venture-backed or late-stage high-growth environments such as Series D or Series E companies. You should be commercially minded, confident with board-level stakeholders, and comfortable serving as a trusted partner to the CEO.
Experience leading global, multi-country organisations is essential, along with the ability to thrive in fast-moving, entrepreneurial, and data-led environments. A strong track record of building scalable people platforms, governance frameworks, and leadership capability in complex settings will be important.
What the role offers
This is a significant enterprise leadership opportunity for someone who wants to shape the people strategy of a business entering its next stage of maturity. The role offers close partnership with the CEO and Board, substantial influence on transformation and expansion, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to IPO readiness.

Shortlisted candidates are expected to be contacted for an introductory conversation within one week.
