Role Summary
Milaha is hiring an experienced Chief Officer for a DP2 crew boat. The role is suited to a DP-certified maritime professional with solid watchkeeping experience and a practical understanding of offshore vessel operations.
Position Details
- Role: Chief Officer – DP2 Vessel Crew Boat
- Rotation pattern: 2 months on followed by 1 month off
- Compensation: Negotiable, depending on licence and experience
Key Duties
- Support safe and effective bridge operations on a DP2 crew boat.
- Carry out bridge watchkeeping responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism.
- Assist with passage planning and navigation procedures.
- Apply and maintain a strong working knowledge of COLREGs and DP operations.
- Work cooperatively with a multinational bridge team and offshore crew.
Requirements
- Valid Chief Mate STCW Certificate of Competency.
- Full DP licence is mandatory.
- At least 12 months of actual sea-time experience.
- Good understanding of dynamic positioning operations, bridge watchkeeping, passage planning, and COLREGs.
- Previous experience on DP2 vessels is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in an international bridge team environment.
