About the Role
A founder-led organization in the beauty and wellness industry is seeking a talented Chief of Staff to partner closely with the CEO and Founder. This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly alongside a visionary leader known for multiple successful exits, contributing strategically and operationally to an expanding business.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert strategic ideas into actionable plans, managing priorities and critical initiatives to support company growth.
- Oversee daily executive operations and ensure the CEO focuses on the highest-impact activities.
- Collaborate with leadership, investors, advisors, and partners, while developing scalable systems to facilitate organizational expansion.
- Manage the CEO’s complex calendar, prioritize engagements, and coordinate key meetings and follow-ups.
- Organize business travel logistics and attend select strategic trips and events.
- Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
- Manage executive communications, including inbox and stakeholder relations.
- Prepare briefing documents, executive summaries, agendas, and decision memos that distill complex information for top-level decisions.
- Lead relationship management with retailers, media, partners, and other stakeholders on behalf of the CEO.
- Drive cross-functional projects ensuring alignment across various teams and external parties.
- Develop strategic presentations, conduct analyses, and establish robust workflows and processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor in reviewing business, financial, and marketing decisions before implementation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degrees are advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in roles such as Chief of Staff, Executive Business Partner, Strategic or Business Operations;
- Alternatively, 2-4+ years in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or family office with subsequent operational experience.
- Demonstrated ability supporting senior founders, CEOs, investors or entrepreneurs in high-paced settings.
- Exceptional writing skills for creating executive reports and strategic briefs.
- Expertise managing complex executive calendars, communications, travel arrangements, and stakeholder engagements.
- Proven track record in project management across concept to completion.
- Proficiency with productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Asana, and familiarity with AI platforms including ChatGPT and similar technologies.
- Excellent discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential information.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Los Angeles area prior to starting employment.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Preferred Experience
- Previous Chief of Staff support in founder-led or family office environments.
- Experience in top-tier consulting firms (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or equivalent operational backgrounds.
- Background or exposure to beauty, wellness, or consumer-facing sectors.
- Connections to the UK are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Exposure to high-growth, venture-backed, or private equity-backed startups.
- Experience managing board meetings, investor relations, and strategic communication.
- History of executive travel support during conferences, investor meetings, and media events.
- Ability to adapt communication styles to diverse leadership and stakeholder personalities.

Additional Information
- This is a full-time, onsite role based in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles, California requiring attendance five days per week.
- The workweek often extends beyond 40 hours, with typical days lasting 12 or more hours.
- Job includes approximately 10-15% travel, predominantly linked to major events in New York, Los Angeles, and Florida.

- Salary range: $150,000 to $170,000 annually plus benefits.
