About Elemynt and Role Overview

Elemynt develops private AI infrastructure focused on materials discovery and engineering, catering to sophisticated R&D teams in sectors such as semiconductors, energy, chemicals, and advanced manufacturing. Their platform facilitates the coordination of simulations, data, machine learning models, and scientific workflows within secure environments. Operating across Singapore and the U.S., Elemynt collaborates with technical customers, investors, advisors, and research partners. The Chief of Staff will partner closely with the CEO to ensure strategic priorities translate effectively into execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transform the CEO's priorities into clear, actionable plans with designated owners and timelines, ensuring follow-up and delivery.
  • Prepare the CEO thoroughly for various meetings, including those with customers, investors, board members, and internal teams.
  • Maintain oversight of critical commitments and escalate issues, delegate tasks, or intervene as needed.
  • Design and oversee the company's operating cadence, such as leadership meetings, weekly focus areas, hiring progress, finance sessions, and board preparations.
  • Keep visibility on the company’s main objectives, associated risks, and outstanding decisions.
  • Consolidate diverse inputs from multiple sources into organized action plans and communicate priorities clearly to team members.
  • Support the CEO with high-level customer engagements, coordinating proposal developments, proof-of-concept scopes, pricing, meeting documentation, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ongoing customer discussions, next steps, and commercial statuses while collaborating with technical leads to simplify complex content for customer communication.
  • Assist with investor relations, including fundraising materials, organizing data rooms, board documents, and tracking progress against company milestones, hiring plans, financials, and strategic goals.
  • Coordinate with finance, legal, and external advisors as required.
  • Facilitate internal communication by drafting memos, meeting notes, decision records, and leadership updates to preserve vital context between different departments.
  • Build and refine lightweight organizational systems that increase efficiency without creating bottlenecks.
  • Lead special strategic projects spanning multiple functional areas, such as entity structuring, vendor onboarding, policy setup, hiring processes, customer onboarding, and operating dashboards.
  • Drive projects forward independently from unclear beginnings to tangible completion.

Expected Outcomes

  • By 30 days: Develop a comprehensive understanding of CEO priorities, customer pipelines, investor background, company rhythm, and open decisions.
  • By 60 days: Independently monitor commitments, prepare meeting materials, enhance follow-through, and reduce distractions for the CEO.
  • By 90 days: Manage a dependable operating system for CEO and leadership teams integrating clear priorities, decision records, ownership, and disciplined execution.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrated strong judgment, discretion, and capability to manage confidential data.
  • Exceptional written communication for drafting clear emails, memos, summaries, and decision documentation.
  • Proven organizational skills to juggle multiple complex tasks without overlooking details.
  • Ability to introduce structure rapidly within ambiguous environments.
  • Familiarity with working across technical, legal, finance, investor, and customer-facing areas.
  • Willingness and flexibility to collaborate across Singapore and U.S. time zones.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven approach without requiring detailed instructions for every step.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior success as a Chief of Staff or similar role in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Background in deep technology, AI, enterprise software, advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, energy, or scientific computing is essential.
  • Experience with fundraising, board processes, customer proposals, POC execution, vendor management, and company operations.
  • Capacity to quickly grasp technical material and effectively translate it into structured business communications.

Personal Qualities
