Overview

A distinguished private equity-backed international firm located in Dublin City Centre is seeking a Chief of Staff to join their dynamic executive leadership team during an exciting phase of strategic growth and transformation. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with the CFO and provides exceptional exposure to board-level initiatives, strategic decision-making, and cross-functional leadership within a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives across the finance department, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timely delivery.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO by preparing executive briefings, presentations, and materials for Committee and Board meetings.
  • Oversee cross-functional business transformation programs aimed at operational excellence and long-term value enhancement.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with senior leaders across Finance, Operations, Product, and Corporate Functions to align strategic priorities.
  • Manage executive governance processes, facilitate leadership meetings, and follow through on action items to enable effective decision-making.
  • Track and report on strategic KPIs and overall performance progress to the CFO and leadership team regularly.
  • Lead and manage confidential, high-impact projects on behalf of the CFO, often involving Board-level stakeholders.
  • Support the CFO by prioritizing multiple demands and ensuring the finance leadership team focuses on delivering strategic results.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience serving as Chief of Staff supporting a CFO, CEO, or other executive leader in a fast-paced setting.
  • Background in working with large international or rapidly growing organizations.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities, with the aptitude to handle multiple strategic projects simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial insight paired with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A highly proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to influence effectively at the executive level.

Additional Information

The role reports directly to the CFO and offers an excellent compensation package that includes bonuses and benefits. Applicants should be prepared to work onsite in Dublin City Centre.
