Job description
About Zero Homes
Zero Homes is on a mission to accelerate home electrification so households can live more sustainably and healthfully. With residential buildings contributing a significant share of U.S. climate emissions, the company is focused on removing the friction from a process that is currently complex, slow, and costly. Its platform is designed to create a smoother experience for homeowners, contractors, and utilities by connecting digital workflows with real-world execution.
The team is building a customer experience that makes electrification simpler, faster, and more affordable while helping drive a major climate impact.
About You
The ideal candidate is a highly practical, action-oriented problem solver who is comfortable working directly in the details. You should enjoy ambiguity, know how to stay grounded while also stepping back to see the bigger picture, and bring broad business management experience. Strong communication across teams and functions is important, as is experience in small or early-stage environments where roles are fluid and expectations evolve quickly. You should be a dependable collaborator who is excited by a role with room to shape and grow, and motivated by work that contributes to a meaningful climate mission.
Role Overview
This role is intended for a resourceful generalist with strong business and operations experience who can take ownership, adapt quickly, and consistently follow through. Working closely with the CEO, you will help establish structure, improve cadence, and support the company’s scale-up plans, including a goal of growing revenue more than fivefold over the next 24 months.

- Handle both planned and ad hoc communications and meetings with investors as needed or as opportunities arise.
- Act as an extension of the CEO and executive team by taking on a mix of high-impact strategic initiatives and operational tasks that keep leadership focused on top priorities.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors across a variety of business needs, including sourcing and contracting.
- Support company infrastructure work, acquisitions, and contract execution.
- Assist with fundraising efforts, including strategy, document preparation, and relationship-building with relevant partners.
- Work with leadership to shape quarterly and annual company strategy.
- Represent the CEO in external meetings and presentations when needed.
Requirements

- Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders and build credibility with stakeholders at every level.
- Strong skills in organization and process management, with the ability to work across strategic planning, analysis, customer and partnership development, process improvement, documentation, and special projects.
- Comfort with high ownership and limited direction, especially in early-stage or ambiguous environments.
- Fast learner with strong execution instincts, able to move quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Strong business judgment, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
- Genuine enthusiasm for building strong organizations that address major global challenges such as climate change.
- Willingness to be part of an inclusive hiring process and apply even if every qualification is not met.
