White Paw Holdings is hiring a Chief Marketing Officer to lead marketing at the executive level for its Los Angeles-based fintech business. The role is based in Los Angeles, California, with a hybrid setup and remote work available. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and sits on the executive leadership team.

What this role will focus on
The CMO will shape and deliver the organization’s global marketing direction, strengthen brand positioning, improve customer acquisition and engagement, and contribute to sustainable growth. The position requires close partnership with executive leadership to ensure marketing priorities match company objectives and to build scalable marketing capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Set and drive a company-wide marketing strategy that supports long-term business goals and organizational priorities.
- Lead all major marketing functions and define clear standards for governance, priorities, and performance.
- Improve how the company is positioned in the market and sharpen its competitive edge.
- Build a culture centered on innovation, collaboration, and high marketing performance.
- Shape and refine the brand strategy so the organization presents a consistent identity across all channels.
- Raise brand visibility, reputation, and customer confidence in the market.
- Track industry movements and competitor activity to inform brand and marketing decisions.
- Create integrated demand-generation programs that support acquisition, growth, and retention.
- Work with Sales and Customer Success to improve the full customer journey.
- Increase lead generation effectiveness across digital and traditional channels.
- Measure campaign performance and continuously improve marketing impact.
- Partner with Product and business leaders on go-to-market plans for new offerings.
- Support product messaging, launch execution, positioning, and adoption efforts.
- Use customer insight and market analysis to guide strategic decisions.
- Define and monitor marketing KPIs, dashboards, and campaign performance measures.
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively.
- Use research, analytics, and customer data to strengthen marketing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Product, Operations, Finance, Customer Success, Communications, and Human Resources.
- Align marketing programs with broader company initiatives and executive priorities.
- Lead and develop marketing leadership teams while supporting succession planning and talent growth.
- Promote accountability, creativity, learning, and leadership excellence across the function.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Economics, or a related field is required.
- At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, brand management, demand generation, growth marketing, or a related area is required.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-level marketing organizations.
- Strong command of integrated marketing, digital marketing, brand leadership, and customer engagement.
- Experience working with executive leadership on business strategy and organizational growth.
- Excellent communication, analytical, strategic planning, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives in fast-moving environments.
Preferred background
- An MBA or another advanced business degree is preferred.
- Experience in technology, SaaS, artificial intelligence, fintech, healthcare, consumer products, or professional services is an advantage.
- Background in global or multi-market marketing leadership is preferred.
- Strong familiarity with marketing analytics, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms is helpful.
- Experience building scalable marketing teams in high-growth companies is desirable.
