Location and Working Hours

Position based in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Candidates should be adaptable with shift schedules, which may vary and require earlier or later start times dependent on customer needs.

Role Overview

The Chief Logistician will provide critical support to logistics operations and Army supply activities by applying expertise in logistics management and property accountability. Responsibilities include utilizing Army supply systems and adhering to supply regulations to ensure mission success.

Primary Duties

  • Deliver strategic support for logistics operations.
  • Operate the Army Supply System efficiently to meet mission objectives.
  • Utilize the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) for supply management.
  • Ensure activities comply with Army supply regulations.
  • Manage property accountability according to DoD Property Book policies and procedures.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Possess an active Secret security clearance.
  • Hold at least a high school diploma.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the Army Supply System.
  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience using GCSS-A.
  • Possess at least five years’ experience in logistics roles.
  • Understand Army supply regulations thoroughly.
  • Be knowledgeable about DoD Property Book accounting policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification from the American Society of Transportation and Logistics or the International Society of Logistics.
  • Experience with the Defense Property Accountability System.
  • Broad knowledge of how technical supply operations interact with general supply support programs.
