Role Summary

Prime Capital AG is hiring a Chief Investment Officer to join its executive leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this senior leader will shape and execute the global investment agenda, guide portfolio and capital allocation decisions, and support long-term value creation while maintaining strong risk controls and compliance standards.

This position is central to the company’s international growth plans and its ambition to strengthen its standing as a leading investment and financial services platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the organization’s global investment strategy.
  • Lead portfolio construction, asset allocation, and major investment decisions.
  • Source and assess opportunities across public and private markets.
  • Manage institutional portfolios and alternative investment programs.
  • Review mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic investment proposals.
  • Steer investment research, financial modelling, and market intelligence efforts.
  • Set portfolio risk management standards and governance structures.
  • Partner with senior leadership on long-range corporate strategy.
  • Develop relationships with institutional investors, financial institutions, regulators, and other business partners.
  • Hire, coach, and lead a high-performing investment team.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, accounting, or a closely related discipline.
  • Advanced qualifications such as an MBA, CFA, CAIA, or similar are preferred.
  • 10 to 15 years of senior-level experience in investment management.
  • Background in investment management, banking, asset management, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or related financial services.
  • Strong command of global capital markets, institutional investing, and portfolio management.
  • Proven capability in leadership, strategic planning, financial analysis, and communication.
  • A demonstrated history of producing sustained investment returns and business growth.
