Role overview
This opportunity is for senior cybersecurity leadership positions across multiple industries, including financial services, technology, critical infrastructure, and commercial organisations. The mandates are confidential and may vary from regional leadership responsibility to global cybersecurity leadership scope. The selected leader will shape cyber strategy, resilience, technology risk management, governance, compliance, and transformation work while working closely with boards, executives, and key business partners.
Key responsibilities
- Set and drive organisation-wide cybersecurity direction in line with business priorities.
- Own governance, risk, and compliance activities for the cyber function.
- Supervise security operations, incident handling, architecture, and resilience planning.
- Provide risk and threat guidance to boards, committees, and senior leadership.
- Champion security change programmes and enable digital initiatives securely.
- Develop and retain strong cybersecurity teams and effective operating structures.
- Coordinate regulatory discussions, audits, and sector compliance obligations.
Candidate profile
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a senior cyber role such as CISO, Deputy CISO, Head of Cyber Security, Head of Information Security, or a similar position.
- Solid experience across cybersecurity governance, technology risk, security operations, architecture, resilience, or related areas.
- Comfortable working with boards, regulators, executive teams, and senior business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead cybersecurity programmes in complex, highly regulated environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
