Chief Information Officer

Overview

An established, fast-scaling software business in Dublin is seeking a Chief Information Officer to join its executive leadership team. The company is a market leader in its niche and is looking for a senior technology leader who can guide the next phase of growth for its technology platform and wider organisation.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be responsible for building and delivering a technology strategy with clear commercial impact. The focus will be on improving the platform, strengthening integrations, and expanding AI capability across the business.

What you will do

• Set and roll out a multi-year technology roadmap that supports business growth.
• Turn AI initiatives into operational, production-ready solutions.
• Support delivery for complex enterprise customers.
• Provide leadership across Engineering, Product, IT, and Security teams on a global scale.
• Improve execution standards, governance practices, and investment decision-making.

What we are looking for

• A senior technology leader with experience in SaaS, platform-based, or integration-heavy environments.
• Hands-on exposure to innovation, operational leadership, and cybersecurity.
• Strong commercial thinking and experience working with enterprise clients.
• A practical, delivery-oriented leader who can operate credibly at executive level.

Work location

This position is ideally based in Dublin city centre in a hybrid setup, although significant remote flexibility may be available for the right candidate.
