Digital-S creates and delivers modern solutions for power system control, protection, and management. Its work spans the full project lifecycle, from engineering and procurement through construction, installation, commissioning, and ongoing operations and maintenance for grid stations and power plant developments.

The organization is known in Vietnam as a strong provider of substation automation and SCADA/EMS/DMS solutions. Backed by broad project experience, it has a deep understanding of how the power sector is structured and operated. Its leadership team combines industry knowledge with strong professional networks, helping the business expand and innovate continuously.

Role Overview

This remote, full-time leadership position is focused on shaping and driving the company’s long-term direction. The Chief Strategy Officer will define corporate strategy, make sure it aligns with the organization’s future vision in power systems and automation, and help turn strategic priorities into practical execution.

The role includes reviewing market conditions, studying competitors, spotting expansion opportunities, and supporting business planning across departments. It also involves close collaboration with executive leaders on financial and investment decisions, as well as oversight of strategic partnerships and major bids and projects.

In addition, the position is responsible for setting performance indicators, tracking strategic progress, and presenting clear recommendations and insights to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

What the Role Involves

  • Define, refine, and execute long-term corporate strategy.
  • Assess market movements, competitor activity, and business trends to support growth planning.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for expansion and strategic development.
  • Work with senior leadership on budgeting, investment, and financial decision-making.
  • Support major bids, partnerships, and high-value project initiatives.
  • Build performance measures and review outcomes against strategic goals.
  • Share strategic findings and recommendations with key stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and business planning, including the design and implementation of long-term business strategies.
  • Strong analytical capability, with the skill to interpret complex datasets, market patterns, and financial models.
  • Good command of corporate finance, budgeting, investment analysis, and risk evaluation.
  • Experience leading cross-functional work and influencing executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in energy, utilities, power systems, or industrial automation is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in multicultural settings.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote environment with strong ownership and organization.
  • A postgraduate or advanced qualification in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent senior experience may also be considered.

This is a full-time remote position based in the United States.
