Job description

Role overview

This contract opportunity is for a well-organised, commercially aware Business Manager to support an in-house marketing production function. The role is centered on financial control, operational coordination, reporting, and keeping marketing production activity moving smoothly across several teams and workstreams.

The position calls for someone with strong financial judgement, polished presentation ability, and the confidence to juggle multiple priorities in a busy setting.

Contract details

Duration: 12 months

Location: Dublin, with a hybrid arrangement requiring 2 days per week in the office.

Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, or 7.5 hours per day.

Rate: EUR 210 per day.

Budget oversight and financial management

You will take ownership of the marketing production budget from end to end, monitoring spend, forecasting future costs, and keeping financial reporting accurate. The role also involves spotting risks, identifying budget differences, and finding opportunities to improve efficiency. Close collaboration with finance teams will be needed to maintain compliance and ensure everyone stays aligned.

Reporting and analysis

The role includes creating concise, insightful reporting on budget performance and project progress. You will also build and maintain dashboards using Power BI or a similar tool, then turn raw data into practical insights for senior decision-makers.

Operational and project support

You will help plan and coordinate marketing production work, making sure schedules, resources, and deliverables are managed effectively. A key part of the job is improving consistency and efficiency across several projects and teams.

Stakeholder management

In this role, you will act as a central point of contact between marketing, finance, and production teams. Clear and confident communication with senior stakeholders is essential, along with the ability to prepare and deliver professional presentations in PowerPoint.

Skills and experience required

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in budget control and financial oversight, plus experience in marketing, production, operations, or project management settings. Advanced PowerPoint skills are important, along with experience using Power BI or comparable reporting platforms. You should also bring strong organisational ability, excellent coordination skills, sharp communication, solid stakeholder management, and the capacity to stay accurate and effective under pressure.

Additional information

This is an internal-support role focused on marketing production operations rather than a client-facing sales position.
