About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to spearhead our company's financial strategy, operations, and planning. As a pivotal figure in the executive leadership, the CFO will oversee all financial activities including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and stakeholder relations, ensuring support for sustainable company growth.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and implement financial strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Advise the CEO, Board, and leadership team with strategic financial insights.
  • Conduct long-term financial planning, capital distribution, and budget oversight.
  • Analyze company performance and propose measures to increase profitability and efficiency.
  • Manage accounting functions, financial reporting, payroll systems, treasury, tax obligations, and maintain internal controls.
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to maintain financial health.
  • Develop and uphold comprehensive financial policies and processes.
  • Lead budgeting cycles and continuous forecasting efforts.
  • Track financial outcomes against budgets and KPIs, offering analysis to boost operational results.
  • Collaborate with business units on financial planning and critical decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
  • Supervise internal and external audit processes.
  • Identify risks spanning financial, operational, and corporate domains and implement mitigations.
  • Maintain rigorous governance and compliance standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for board members and investors.
  • Support capital raising, funding, mergers, acquisitions, and due diligence tasks.
  • Build and nurture relationships with financial institutions, investors, and auditors.
  • Communicate financial status and strategic plans to stakeholders.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire the finance and accounting teams toward a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Partner across departments to promote performance excellence and operational success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Candidacy or certification in CPA, CMA, or an MBA strongly preferred.
  • Over 10 years of advancing leadership roles in finance and accounting.
  • Proven executive experience as CFO, VP of Finance, Finance Director, or similar.
  • Deep expertise in financial planning, corporate finance, accounting standards, and reporting.
  • Competence in budget creation, cash flow optimization, forecasting, and financial data analysis.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Leading finance teams in start-up environments, rapid growth companies, or publicly traded firms.
  • Hands-on experience with raising capital, venture funding, private equity, and investor relations.
  • Background in mergers, acquisitions, or corporate restructuring.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, financial planning applications, and business intelligence tools.
  • Industry-specific experience relevant to the company's sector is a plus.
