About the Role
We are searching confidentially for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a rapidly expanding, venture-backed global technology firm. This full-time position is based in Brazil and offers a remote working environment. The CFO will be a key strategic partner to the CEO, executive leadership, and Board of Directors as the company advances into its next growth phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team on financial planning, growth initiatives, capital distribution, and monitoring business performance.
- Lead a global finance organization consisting of around 30 employees, including managing seven direct reports.
- Supervise critical functions such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Operations, Investor Relations, People Operations, Revenue Operations, and Mergers & Acquisitions.
- Own company-wide processes encompassing forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and performance management.
- Work with business leaders to optimize operational efficiency and scale growth sustainably.
- Manage investor communications, provide board reports, and conduct strategic financial reviews.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement M&A deals and other strategic projects.
- Enhance financial governance frameworks, reporting accuracy, controls, and organizational decision-making.
- Provide data-driven financial leadership to support the company's long-term strategy.
Qualifications
- Extensive leadership experience in finance with considerable exposure to U.S. cross-border financial practices.
- Strong familiarity with international financial operations, ideally within global technology or high-growth companies.
- Preferred background includes management consulting at top firms such as McKinsey, Bain, or BCG.
- Previous roles as CFO, VP Finance, Head of Finance, or equivalent senior finance leadership.
- Proven expertise in M&A, corporate development, strategic finance, and investor relations.
- Experience managing senior leadership teams across multiple finance-related functions.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities, communication skills, and stakeholder management.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
