About the Role
Our client is an established group targeting an IPO. The Group CFO will act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, taking full ownership of financial strategy, regional operations, and capital market efforts related to the IPO.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough IPO readiness audit within 90 days, assessing financial controls, corporate structure, and compliance gaps.
- Lead the transition of all regional accounting books into a consolidated IFRS reporting framework.
- Form and manage the IPO working group, including Joint Sponsors, Legal Counsels across jurisdictions (Singapore, Hong Kong, Cayman/Offshore), and Underwriters.
- Direct all financial planning, tax optimization, treasury, and accounting functions for Singapore and Southeast Asian subsidiaries.
- Revamp Singapore’s finance function to align with public governance, risk management, and internal control standards.
- Provide strategic financial reports to the Board and Audit Committee covering cash flow, profitability, and IPO budgeting metrics.
Candidate Profile & Experience
- Proven experience as CFO or VP of Finance overseeing a successful IPO, with hands-on familiarity of HKEX, SGX, or US capital markets.
- At least 12 years in senior financial leadership within Singapore's corporate environment.
- Experienced in managing multi-currency, regional tax regimes, and transfer pricing across Asia-Pacific.
- Deep expertise in IFRS or HKFRS accounting standards.
- Holds a university degree in Finance or Accounting and holds professional accounting certifications such as CA (Singapore), CPA, or ACCA.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Mandarin proficiency is highly desirable to engage with regulators, sponsors, and investors in Mainland China and the region.
