Chief Financial Officer

About the Role

We are looking to hire an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to steer the financial operations and bolster the sustainable growth and profitability of our company. The CFO will play a vital role on the executive leadership team, accountable for developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with business goals, managing risks, and supporting key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement the company's long-term financial planning that complements overall business objectives.
• Direct financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial performance.
• Offer strategic financial insights and guidance to the CEO and executive leadership.
• Supervise treasury functions, manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and capital deployment.
• Ensure timely and precise preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Lead efforts in financial risk management and enhancing internal controls as well as corporate governance.
• Comply with IFRS standards, tax laws, and other legal and regulatory obligations.
• Maintain productive relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Support business growth, including mergers and acquisitions and exploring investment opportunities.
• Design funding approaches and optimize the capital structure of the organization.
• Report financial results and strategic recommendations to the Board and executive committees.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the finance team fostering a culture of high performance.
• Promote financial process enhancements through digital transformation and automation.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as MBA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
• In-depth understanding of IFRS, corporate finance, financial planning, treasury functions, taxation, and risk management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced financial reporting software.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset.
• Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
