About the role
The Chief Executive Officer will hold a full-time remote leadership position and be accountable for shaping the company’s overall direction and ensuring that strategy is carried through across all functions. This person will oversee the investment management business end to end, covering finance, operations, sales, and business planning, while keeping activities aligned with regulatory obligations and the objectives of the joint venture with Apollo Global Management.
Key focus areas
The role involves setting and executing long-range strategy, maintaining important relationships with stakeholders, monitoring financial outcomes, and steering expansion in the company’s target regions. The CEO will partner closely with senior leaders and the board to support business development, improve operating efficiency, and build a strong, inclusive, high-performing culture. The position also requires representing the company in external settings, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring that compliance and risk management standards remain consistently high.
Qualifications and experience
- Solid expertise in finance, including financial oversight, capital allocation, and performance monitoring
- Strong operational leadership with a history of improving processes, managing risk, and supporting regulatory adherence
- Proven ability to build business plans and long-term growth strategies
- Successful background in sales, business development, and relationship management with institutional and regional counterparts
- Significant senior leadership experience within investment management, private equity, or a comparable financial services environment
- Working knowledge of DFSA regulations and the markets of the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, and Turkey is an advantage
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, including the capability to lead distributed remote teams
- Advanced qualification in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a similar discipline is preferred
- Commitment to ethical leadership, inclusive practices, and sound corporate governance
