Job description
Role overview
An established global facilities management business is hiring a Chief Executive Officer to steer its next stage of strategic expansion and transformation. Based in London with a hybrid working arrangement, this is a high-impact leadership role for an executive who can shape long-term direction, improve performance, and strengthen the company’s market position.
The organisation is a recognised market leader with a substantial client base and ambitious growth plans. The Board is looking for a leader who combines commercial judgement, operational discipline, and strategic thinking to deliver durable growth, protect and grow shareholder value, and reinforce the company’s standing in the sector.
What the role involves
As CEO, you will take full ownership of the organisation’s overall performance and strategic direction. Working in close partnership with the Board and executive team, you will guide the business through its next phase of development while promoting innovation, strong operations, and customer centricity.
Key responsibilities
- Set the long-range corporate vision and turn it into an actionable strategy.
- Deliver consistent growth in revenue and profit across UK and international markets.
- Build, coach, and retain a strong executive leadership team.
- Develop trusted relationships with clients, investors, Board members, and strategic partners.
- Assess and pursue acquisition, investment, and market expansion opportunities.
- Lead initiatives that advance innovation, digital change, and operational performance.
- Maintain robust standards of governance, regulatory compliance, and corporate accountability.
- Act as a senior representative of the organisation with Board stakeholders, major customers, investors, and the broader industry.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will be an accomplished Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, or Divisional CEO with a strong record of leading large, complex organisations in facilities management, business services, property services, outsourcing, or support services.
You should have experience leading businesses with revenues in the hundreds of millions or billions of pounds, along with a demonstrated ability to deliver strategy-led growth and business transformation. A strong commercial mindset, the ability to improve profitability, and a history of creating shareholder value are essential. The Board is also seeking a leader with excellent people leadership, strong stakeholder management skills, and a reputation for integrity, resilience, and decisive action.
Salary and rewards
- Basic salary of £400,000.
- Highly competitive executive bonus arrangement.
- Long-term incentive plan (LTIP).
- Comprehensive executive benefits.
- The chance to lead a leading global facilities management business through its next phase of growth and innovation.
