Chief Executive Officer - Confectionery & Bakery

Position Overview

Key Duties

• Formulate and implement an ambitious growth plan focused on boosting revenue, profitability, and market penetration in the confectionery domain.
• Lead business expansion efforts within the UK and pursue new opportunities in international arenas such as Italy and the United States.
• Establish and nurture impactful partnerships across customers, retailers, distributors, and manufacturers to underpin growth targets.
• Champion product innovation, brand strategy, and category leadership among premium and general confectionery markets.
• Drive a performance-driven culture emphasizing accountability, continual improvement, and commercial achievements.
• Enhance operational efficiency, fortify supply chains, and optimize manufacturing processes in preparation for scaling.
• Explore and evaluate new market channels, strategic alliances, mergers/acquisitions, and investment possibilities.
• Ensure the enterprise is positioned for sustainable long-term value creation through outstanding commercial and financial outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated executive leadership experience as a CEO, Managing Director, or comparable senior role within confectionery, food manufacturing, FMCG, or consumer goods sectors.
• Proven track record of driving business growth domestically and internationally, particularly across UK, European, and North American markets.
• Solid grasp of commercial strategies, brand evolution, category expansion, and customer relationship management.
• Experienced in guiding organizations through transformation, expansion, acquisitions, or investment phases.
• Adept at developing and mentoring talented teams and fostering cultures that achieve exceptional results.
• Entrepreneurially minded with a balance of strategic foresight and hands-on leadership qualities.
