Job description
Role overview
Fulchester Consultants is hiring on behalf of a client for a Chief Executive Officer Coach. This is a senior, full-time remote position for a trusted executive advisor who can help a CEO improve leadership effectiveness, sharpen strategic focus, and create stronger alignment among key stakeholders.
Why this position matters
The client is seeking a highly credible advisor who can enable a CEO to lead with more clarity, consistency, and influence. In this role, you will support leadership performance, decision-making quality, communication effectiveness, and alignment in conversations involving the executive team, investors, and the board.
The leadership problem this role addresses
As companies expand, CEOs often deal with rising complexity across growth, stakeholder management, culture, execution, and visibility. This position is intended to help a senior leader handle that complexity with stronger judgment, better prioritisation, and a more effective leadership cadence.
Background that fits the role
Your experience may come from executive advisory, founder support, business transformation, organisational leadership, or senior strategic roles. The most important factor is your ability to work closely with top decision-makers, understand business pressure, and turn leadership demands into practical next steps.
Primary responsibilities
- Work directly with the CEO to improve leadership effectiveness, executive presence, and strategic decision-making.
- Help establish clear priorities, leadership habits, and accountability systems.
- Support stronger alignment within the executive team on business goals, communication, and execution.
- Offer structured guidance on managing stakeholders such as investors, board members, customers, and senior partners.
- Contribute to discussions on growth strategy, organisational performance, and leadership effectiveness.
- Identify leadership blind spots, execution bottlenecks, and communication breakdowns, then convert them into practical improvement plans.
- Support the CEO during major decisions, transition periods, and growth milestones.
- Promote sustainable leadership practices that build clarity, resilience, and confidence across the organisation.
What success will look like
- The CEO leads with more clarity, focus, and consistency.
- Strategic priorities are communicated more effectively across the leadership group.
- Alignment improves within the executive team around execution and accountability.
- Stakeholder trust grows through clearer leadership communication.
- Leadership performance contributes to stronger business momentum and long-term value creation.
Experience and capabilities sought
- Extensive experience working with senior executives, founders, or C-suite leaders.
- Strong grasp of leadership effectiveness, business performance, and strategic execution.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders with tact, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Experience guiding leaders through growth, transformation, or high-pressure decision-making environments.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and facilitation skills.
- High professionalism, emotional intelligence, and business acumen.
Especially relevant background
- Previous experience advising CEOs, founders, or executive leadership teams.
- Exposure to business transformation, executive advisory, leadership development, or organisational performance.
- Experience working in investor-facing or board-facing settings.
- Background in SaaS, AI, machine learning, software, or other technology-enabled businesses.
- An MBA or another advanced business qualification may be beneficial.
- Equivalent senior-level experience will also be taken into account.
What makes the opportunity appealing
This is a high-trust, visible role with meaningful access to senior leadership challenges and real influence over how executive performance affects business outcomes. It offers the chance to work closely with top decision-makers and contribute to growth, alignment, and long-term organisational effectiveness.
Equal opportunity
Applications are welcome from qualified candidates of all backgrounds. Candidates will be assessed based on relevant experience, capability, and fit for the role.
Application notes
Applicants should use the official application process. Sensitive identity, right-to-work, or payroll details should only be requested at the appropriate stage and only where required by law.
