Role overview

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished operator who is ready to run a B2B SaaS business inside a fast-growing portfolio setup. The position is based in Germany and is advertised on behalf of a partner company, which will handle applications and all subsequent hiring steps.

The role offers broad ownership across strategy, revenue expansion, operations, and organizational growth, with complete accountability for the business's P&L. It combines entrepreneurial freedom with the support of an established global platform, allowing the leader to concentrate on growth, execution, and value creation. You will help define the go-to-market direction, lead a strong team, and steer both product and commercial development in a competitive SaaS landscape. In this role, you will act as both strategist and operator, contributing to decisions across product, sales, and finance while building a culture centered on performance and accountability.

Key accountabilities

  • Create and implement the company strategy so it stays aligned with market conditions and portfolio priorities.
  • Take full ownership of P&L performance, including planning, forecasting, and financial management.
  • Scale go-to-market execution across product-led growth, inbound, enterprise sales, and partnership motions.
  • Improve operational performance through KPI tracking, process refinement, and scalable operating structures.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain strong leadership talent, including succession planning and org design.
  • Drive innovation in the product and business, including opportunities that use AI and new operating models.
  • Build a culture defined by accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Represent the business externally with customers, partners, investors, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Work closely with portfolio leadership to keep strategy and execution tightly aligned.

Requirements

  • Background as a CEO, General Manager, or senior executive within a B2B SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling SaaS businesses and improving metrics such as ARR, retention, and profitability.
  • Strong command of go-to-market strategy across PLG, enterprise sales, and partnerships.
  • Solid financial expertise with hands-on responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and overall P&L ownership.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and scale high-performing leadership teams.
  • Experience leading organizational change and operational improvement at scale.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities across internal and external audiences.
  • Strategic thinking paired with the ability to turn plans into execution in complex settings.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
